Join us Sunday, January 30, 2022 for 5th Sunday

Guts Church utilizes the four Sundays of the year that there is a fifth Sunday to celebrate together as believers.

There are three elements to our 5th Sunday services in which you can participate.

COMMUNION

This is a time for us to recognize and express gratitude for the price Jesus Christ paid by dying on the cross for our sins. This is done corporately and led by a pastor or elder in the church during the worship portion of service. (Luke 22:19–20; Matthew 26:26–28; Mark 14:22–24; 1 Corinthians 11:23–25)

BABY DEDICATIONS

This is an opportunity for parents to dedicate their child to God and for the pastors to pray a blessing over their lives.

BAPTISM

Water baptism is cause for celebration for a new believer, as the first public profession of their faith. The bible clearly teaches that baptism is the first step of obedience after making a commitment to Christ, as well as allowing believers to communicate to the world their serious commitment to God. As an outward expression of an inward decision, we would love to baptize you and share this special time with you as you go public with your faith!Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death. That just as Christ was raised with Him to the Glory of the Father even so we should walk with him into the newness of life. (Romans 6:4)
